Signing of Strategic Alliance Agreement with Mind Foundry,
a spin-out company from the University of Oxford
Eight-Japan Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. ("EJEC") entered into a strategic alliance agreement with Mind Foundry Limited ("MF"), an AI development company established as a spin-out from the University of Oxford, UK.
To further advance the development and maintenance of social infrastructure facilities, we have formed a strategic partnership with Mind Foundry, a UK-based company dedicated to tackling global challenges through the development and deployment of responsible AI. This collaboration aims to drive the next level of product innovation.

Outline of Mind Foundry
Moving forward, EJEC plans to collaborate with joint development with MF on the joint development of robotics technologies (including drones) and the integration of AI into system development for social infrastructure, as well as agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sectors.
Both parties confirmed the direction and specific future activities to be taken in developing first project, which will apply MF's image matching AI technology to develop an in-house damage determination support system that will match and detect damaged areas from the latest inspection images and past inspection reports.

※3 Eye-Con360:The system overlays 3D data of structures on 360-degree panoramic photographs to support rapid decision-making through the sharing of realistic images in the early planning stages and the planning of rapid countermeasures for disaster restoration, etc.
