On July 8th, 2024, Eight-Japan Engineering Consultants Inc. (“EJEC”) participated as a speaker and exhibitor at the " Thailand-Japan Environmental Technology Business Matching Seminar" hosted by the Ministry of the Environment, Japan (co-hosted with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment, Thailand; Embassy of Japan in Thailand; and in cooperation with the Japanese Chamber of Commerce, Bangkok; JETRO Bangkok Office; JICA Thailand Office; Bangkok Metropolitan Administration; Department of Climate Change and Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment of Thailand; Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry of Thailand; and Federation of Thai Industries) in Bangkok, Thailand.

The aim of this seminar was to facilitate business cooperation in environmental technologies and services between Japan and Thailand. Expected contributions of the seminar were the advancement of environmental initiatives between the two countries, promotion of public-private partnerships, and facilitating new businesses. Approximately 200 (in-person) and 150 (online) people participated in the seminar.

From EJEC, Ms. Kotoe Kuroda in the Environment and Energy Division, International Department, gave a presentation titled "Consulting Services for Waste Management."

During the business matching and individual consultation session, EJEC exchanged opinions with 15 companies and organizations to discuss possibilities of future collaboration and hearing about their needs and interests.
